Ryan and Liz are our third New York couple this year. University of Michigan Grads carried over into the drink of Choice at the reception.

This timeline we knew was going to be tight but Ryan and Liz decided to see each other before and tackle all of the compulsory photo groupings.  This helped us out immensely as there was not a lot of time between the ceremony and reception.  

I love the photo below which is of Ryan arriving at the church (in the doorway) and Liz getting ready (prior to seeing each other).

Michigan wedding photography detailsLiz was so great to work with all day and while the below photo is a little contrived it works very well in a contemporary way.

photography wedding michigan brideThe ceremony was at Bethlehelm Church of Christ in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  While the sanctuary provide incredible light and color the temperature within the church rose pretty high.  I am going to jump forward to the Law Quad at the University of Michigan.  This is obviously one of our favorite places to photograph.  We were able to stop obtain some great video footage and photographs (within about 20 minutes).

Off to the Polo Fields where we are on the preferred vendor list.  We loved the food stations where the guests could have choices of different types prepared by the chefs.  Below are some of our favorite photos during the evening including the drink of choice.
