When you look at an image it usually gives you a feeling and much of that feeling is a direct result of the effect placed on it. Below is another great example from this past weekends wedding. Even though I have photographed at the Edsel Ford Estate in Grosse Pointe Shores several times before, I like to always look at a location as if it was my first time. This always allows that little extra bit of expectation and creative no how to find something truly amazing in what seems just ordinary. So when I was following the limousine up the long winding road I saw this location and thought I love that whispering willow and realized I had to stop on the way out. What ended up turning out to be one of those totally stellar images almost didn’t happen. As we were coming back to the limo to leave I told the Driver we had to stop on the way out. He mentioned that we would be cutting it close (my notes said we actually had time to spare) so we stopped and popped out and what was probably only two minutes and got the photo. So well worth it!
