Jon & Michelle –Wedding Photography, videography and Photo Booth – I had the opportunity to see two of my most favorite people this weekend – Ed & Karen. I know it sounds funny with all the people in attendance that we have had the distinct pleasure of capturing over the years but Michelle (and Nicole’s) parents have always had a special place in my heart. Call me crazy or maybe it was the similarities of having two daughters themselves (like me) or the emotional side of the moment or when Ed came up to me at Crystal and Jason’s wedding last year. I just loved being apart of this day. When of course Michelle asked me to photograph her wedding I was so looking forward to these moments and this day.
So the Day opened with Freezing Rain – and multi car pile ups on a few freeways but its November in Michigan. I had several people text and tell me to be careful today. From the first moment I arrived it was like hanging out with great friends and then having the opportunity to capture some incredible photos. I absolutely loved Michelle’s gown and presentation on the dress mannequin – amazing. Then the moments began with Karen looking on as I began to photograph Michelle, the hug, the look, the moment. Followed by Dad seeing Michelle for the first time.
Jon and his family welcomed us and were so much fun to be around. Matt, Allyson and I are so thankful we have had this time with such great families during such a wonderful wedding.
