“Why become a teacher?” by Emily Butler

In life we get one chance.  One chance to make a difference.  One chance to stand out.

There are people that amaze, not by the wealth they amass or the victories they acheive but by the lives they touch. Those people are the ones that make a difference in this world. They are the people that will shape the generations to come.  I am proud of what my daughter Emily has been able to accomplish and excel at. But, it is her passion in forming the future lives of the children she will touch that makes her one of the best.  Her mentor teacher pretty much summed it up when she told me – wherever she ends up  they will be so lucky to get her.

Thanks Emily and never lose that passion!
