So Cool – The list (and its counterpart)

Everyone is busy and not a lot of time to read my total ramblings, yes I understand and so here is todays list of good and bad:

The Good:
1 – Rebekah called yesterday and said we had captured three of her friends weddings and so she knows all about us. Her friends rave about us so she is planning her wedding on a date we are available – (Rebekah you rock!) ๐Ÿ™‚

2 – We are on track to have our best year ever in 2009 and 2010 is already booking up faster than ever before (usually when the word gets out to other photographers we start getting shopped, so don’t tell anyone). What people don’t realize is it is going above and beyond in everything we do – its not what you do its how you do it ๐Ÿ™‚

3 – While we are on the subject – GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND. We love to blow you away and making your imagery amazing and your friends envious ๐Ÿ™‚

4 – Bonus videos – I absolutely love these as I can do it how I want to and they have a great movie quality ๐Ÿ™‚

5 – Our Crew – We have some really great people now working with us who are not afraid to experiment. ๐Ÿ™‚

6 – Our family and all the support my mother and our children have given us, thanks Bonnie and I love you! โค

7 – And Lucky number seven is living with a passion. Einstein said โ€œOnly a life lived for others is worth livingโ€ – โค

OK the Down side:
1 – Windows Vista – what were they thinking. We average about 2 blues screens of death each day. I want to do everything Mac and on the photo side we are but Final Cut Pro is just not as fast or as easy to use Sony Vegas for editing videos- ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

2 – Cold weather and battery life – dreadful ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

3 – Hard Drive failures. Considering just how many photos we take in a year (about 120,000) and how much video we capture, render and work through, I guess one a year is not bad. It happened last week and this time I was prepared for it – It was last Saturday before the wedding I was so thrilled to be back up within 2 hours the only thing that was missing was a recent album layout – but no problem they are easy to put back together ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

The upside is: since I have one HD failure a year it is already over with and it is only February – ๐Ÿ˜›

So in all this is the short list – Thanks for being a part of this incredible ride we are on!
